한민족의 역사는 9천 년 전 인류 최초의 나라, 환국桓國에서 시작되어 6천 년 전 동방 백두산에 세워진 배달과 2천여 년 전의 단군조선을 거쳐 오늘에 이르고 있습니다. 환국 • 배달 • 조선이라는 위대한 역사가 송두리째 부정되고 일제의 조작으로 한낱 신화로 다뤄지는 것이 우리의 현실입니다.
20세기 초 이래 중국 내몽골과 요서 지역 일대에서 발굴된 홍산문화는 환국과 배달이 생생한 역사임을 입증합니다. 그 유적에서 동이족의 전통 무덤인 적석총, 하늘에 제사를 올린 제단, 여신을 모신 신전 등 한민족의 역사와 생활상을 드러내는 유물과 증거들이 대거 발굴되었기 때문입니다. 동북아 고대 역사와 시원문명의 주인공은 다름 아닌 한민족입니다.
중국 어떤 사서에도 홍산문화의 주인공을 밝힐 만한 아무런 기록이 나오지 않습니다. 그 주인공을 밝힐 유일한 역사책이 바로 한민족의 정통 사서『환단고기』입니다.
『환단고기』는 고려조에서 조선조까지 천 년에 걸쳐 당대의 다섯 석학이 쓴 다섯 종의 사서를 집대성한 책입니다.
『환단고기』에는 세계 4대 문명의 근원이 되는 인류 창세문명의 실체가 담겨 있습니다. 또한 환국 • 배달 • 단군조선이라는 우리의 뿌리 역사뿐 아니라 북부여와 고구려를 거쳐 고려 시대에 이르기까지 9천 년 한민족사의 국통맥이 명쾌하게 밝혀져 있습니다.

Daehan History and Culture Association(DHCA) is an organization that supports the historical and cultural movement to recover the lost history and culture of Korea by correctly re-establishing the national lineage of the Korean Civilization for a brighter future of the Daehan. Headquartered in Seoul with 7 regional headquarters and 105 chapters in South Korea, Daehansarang’s global presence continues to grow. Presently, there are 20 chapters in the United States, Germany, France, Austria, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Oman.
Han from the word ‘Daehan’ comes from the character Hwan, the resplendence of the heavens, and the Dan the resplendence of the earth. Coming together of these resplendence of the heaven and earth is Han, the resplendence of human being. So Daehan can be defined as great noble men that have realized the resplendence of the heaven and earth and have become one with the heaven and earth to manifest a peaceful world of resplendence; the hong-ik-in-gan.
Korean Civilization began 9,000 years ago with Hwan-guk, the first-ever nation established by humanity which was succeeded by Baedal, a nation established 6,000 years ago in the Baekdusan Mountain of the Far East, and Dangun Joseon of 4,000 years ago which continued until this day. But the reality is that the great history of Hwanguk, Baedal, and Joseon is being denied in it’s entirety and is treated as a mere mythology due to the systematic distortion of Korean history by the Japanese Imperialists.
The Hongshan Culture, discovered in Inner Mongolia and Liao Xi region of modern day China, confirms that the story of Hwanguk and Baedal is indeed a very real and vivid history. This is because we have discovered artifacts and evidences that reveal the Korean people’s history and lifestyle such as the stone mound tombs of the Dongyi people, altars used for sacred rituals to the heavens, and a goddess temple. Korean people are the ones of the ancient history and the primordial culture of the Northeast Asia.
There is no historical record that reveals to whom the Hongshan Culture belongs to. And the only book that will be able to provide an answer to this truth is the Hwandangogi, an authentic history book of the Korean Civilization.
Hwandangogi contains the primordial progenitor civilization which becomes the root of the Cradle of Civilization, the 4 ancient civilization of the world. Also, it clearly presents the root history of Hwanguk, Baedal, and Dangun Joseon as well as the entire history of 9,000 years through North Buyeo and Goguryeo all the way down to the Koryo dynasty.
A century have passed since the publication of Hwandangogi. It was only possible through the sacrificing of lives and efforts of the patriotic martyrs who tried to recover the history of the Korean civilization. But today, Korean people are denying their own lineage of the root history due to the fact that their historical and cultural genes have been altered. This is the reason why we must recover the lost history and culture.
The only way to head for a brighter future is to learn history correctly. Korea has met its liberation in 1945, but the truth of history is yet to be recovered. We must all stand for the liberation of history this time.
DHCA will lead the path in revealing the true image of the Korean people by restoring the lost history and culture of the Korean people. Further, we will reveal the grand mission of the Korean people for the sake of the future of humanity to overcome the war on history in Northeast Asia to create a world of mutual life-giving where harmony and peacefulness overflows.
